Sleep Pods x TFS Volunteer Build

As the cold winter months set in we are really proud to be welcoming in the charity SLEEP PODS on to our TFS site.

People are dying on the streets with tragic regularity. For rough sleepers in the UK and refugees in Europe, many of these deaths are a result of hypothermia and exposure to extreme weather conditions. A Sleep Pod is a one-person shelter that can offer meaningful protection from the elements. Sleep Pods are: insulated, rain resistant, wind resistant, quick and easy to use. lightweight, easy to pack and carry, cost effective to make (at only £30 per Pod), easy to make, made by teams of volunteers.

On WED 17TH NOV from 9am – 6pm we are inviting the SLEEP PODS team in to our TFS campus and we are using STUDIO 2 for them to do a one day build with lots of our team, close clients, any tenants encouraged to help volunteer.

That means they will set up all their materials, teach us how to construct a Sleep Pod tent and we will get busy rolling up our sleeves trying to make as many as we can.
