TFS Foley + Sound team worked on Kenneth Branagh’s BELFAST launching in cinemas in November

Kenneth Branagh’s BELFAST is coming to cinemas on November 12th.

BELFAST is a poignant story of love, laughter and loss in one boy’s childhood, staring Golden Globe nominee Caitriona Balfe, Academy Award winner Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan, Ciaran Hinds, and Jude Hill.

It marks a stark shift from Branagh’s signature directorial efforts—which include Thor, Cinderella, and Murder on the Orient Express—but he believes now was the exact right time to tell his story. “In this last 18 months or so, there’s been this profound disturbance to what, in retrospect, was this innate comfort of the routine,” he says. “Suddenly, you live with this thing that human beings just don’t like: uncertainty.”

Our multi award winning TFS Foley team were so proud to work on the feature.

Foley Mixer: Sophia Hardman

Foley Artists: Oli Ferris & Sue Harding

Foley Editor: Arthur Graley

The TFS Sound team also completed the mix in our newly redesigned, state of the art Sound Theatre 2 with Mixers Simon Chase and Niv Adiri. Sound Design was by Soundbyte Studios and Supervised by James Mather.
